OUR HERD

Our present foundation herd consists of 25 choice breeding females and 4 herdsires, plus the progeny of those females.. 

LOCATION

Only 1/2 mile off I-25 at Exit 163 between Denver & Colorado Springs at 7352 ft. elevation on 10 acres of pine forest and open pasture, we are conveniently located for farm visits. Turn west at Exit 163, then south on Beacon Lite Rd. to corner of Bricker Rd. Turn right , then left into our drive. Contact us to schedule an appointment.

OUR BREEDING PROGRAM

In order to produce alpacas for sale with exceptional colored fiber, correct conformation and complete coverage, we are breeding deeply-colored quality Peruvians, Bolivians and Chileans with our multiple-Champion medium fawn sire and a bay black full-Peruvian male with a 20.4 micron at 2.5 years old. We also send out at least 1/3 of our females for breeding to other well-known sires. We prefer solid-colored alpacas, as we feel that will be the most commercially valuable fiber when the American herd becomes large enough to sustain a viable alpaca fiber industry.

Our crias represent all groups on the ARI color chart, with fiber that has excellent fineness and soft handle, and outstanding coverage from nose to toes. The many ribbons and championships from the few AOBA shows we attend reflect the quality of our program.

OUR SALES PROGRAM

We sell and ship breeding-quality alpacas across the USA. All of our alpacas for sale have been tested for BVD and almost all adults have antibodies against the disease. Because of our small acreage, each year we must sell 17-20 alpacas in an active sales program. During a BVD infection we self-quarantined and did not sell females, so now we must reduce our numbers by at least 30.. Many of our alpaca sales are packages and time-payment plans. We're glad to work with you on terms that fit your budget and make it possible for you to enter the alpaca business or add quality to your existing herd.
